Technical Issues:

Below are details regarding common issues in the cottage. If the information listed does not resolve the issue, please let us know at your earliest convenience in case we can help, and possibly contact a technician.

WiFi:

Username: Booming Ben

Password: summerplace

TV/Streaming Connection:

For any issues with streaming services and/or the Roku remote, please reset the system with the following instructions:

  1. Select Home scroll to Settings; select

  2. Scroll to System; select

  3. Scroll to Power; select

  4. Scroll to System Restart; select

WiFi Offline:

The cable runs directly from the telephone pole by the parking area to the house. For any issues with WiFi, please reset the system with the following instructions:

  1. Unplug the router

  2. Wait 30 seconds

  3. Make sure the internet cable is connected but not overtightened

Heating/Cooling Errors:

Error message CH 07: All active units must be on the same temperature mode. If Error CH 07 appears, at least one unit is set to a different temperature mode than the rest (i.e. all units are on Cool excluding one set to Heat).

  1. For air conditioning, make sure all units are set to Cool (snowflake icon).

  2. For heating, make sure all units are set to Heat (sun icon).

  3. Check that all units are in the same temperature mode (i.e. Cool/snowflake icon).

  4. To expedite cooling, set the fan speed to High to help circulate air.
