• The cottage has two full baths, complete with tubs and showers. One is off of the kitchen, and one is on the second floor. There are hair dryers in each bedroom. We provide toilet paper, bath soaps, bath towels, and beach towels (one towel each per person). There is also an outdoor shower.

  • The kitchen is well-stocked for dining, including plasticware for children and/or picnics (please bring it all back!). There is a grill on the side deck.

  • There is a formal dining room between the kitchen and family room on the first floor. There are also casual outdoor dining spaces on the porch and by the back deck.

  • On the first floor, the front room is a more formal social area, and there is a family/casual room in the middle with a smart TV. We have a collection of board games for you to enjoy anywhere that you’re comfortable (please be mindful that the porch breeze could steal your Monopoly money).

  • The house has a wraparound porch fitted with ample seating, and storage for provided beach chairs. The left side of the cottage features a deck area for relaxing and grilling. The “front yard” of the house is in fact East Chop Association land, and is named Wesley Park. The park is public land, so neighbors may walk through. Please don’t leave any personal belongings in the park area, including chairs and bicycles.

The house

  • The pimary bedroom is the largest. It has a king bed, a day bed, a private deck, a bureau, closet, and a ceiling fan.

  • The middle bedroom has a double bed, a twin bed, a bureau, and small closet.

  • The rear bedroom has a queen bed, bureau, a Shaker peg rail for ample hanging space, and a ceiling fan.

Sleeping

  • Parking for two cars is by the post and rail fence at the top of the driveway to the right of the house. Parking is prohibited in the driveway, because the driveway is an easement across East Chop Association park property.

  • The house has WiFi, and the details are located on a refrigerator magnet in the kitchen. Details will also be provided as part of your check-in information.

  • There are a washer and dryer in the laundry room off of the kitchen, along with an iron and ironing board. There is a clothesline outside for beach towels and bathing suits.

  • The seasonal cottagehas mini-splits for heating and cooling for use April-October. The house is closed November-March.

  • There is no wheelchair access to the cottage. On each side of the house, there are small staircases to access the front porch. There is also a door off of the kitchen, which connects to the deck and outdoor shower area. There are two narrow interior staircases connecting to the second floor.
